1. Introduction
Welcome to Signature Experience Events. These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with Signature Experience Events which is operated by Signature Experience Events.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
3. Services
Signature Experience Events offers event planning and coordination services, including but not limited to, creative celebrations, boutique events, networking events, afternoon teas, garden parties, family reunions, and other related services.
4. Booking and Payment
4.1 Booking Process
When you book our services, you contact us via our website, email, or phone. Upon confirmation of availability, a service agreement will be sent for your review and signature.
4.2 Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of 65% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 21 days before the event date. Payments can be made via credit card or via e-transfers, which is the preferred method.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Client Cancellations
If you need to cancel your event, due to emergency situations like illness, accidents, or personal losses, you must provide written notice within 30 days of the event. Cancellation fees apply and will vary depending on the various types of events.
Here are two scenarios that could apply:
● 25% of the total fee if canceled 30+ days before the event.
● Zero% of the total fee if canceled within 30 days of the event.
5.2 Company Cancellations
In the unlikely event your booking needs to be canceled, Signature Experience will provide a credit for a future event within one year. Alternatively, you can receive a partial percentage refund of payments made, depending on the type of events.
6. Changes to Services
Any changes to the scope of services must be requested in writing and may be subject to additional fees. I will endeavor to accommodate reasonable changes but cannot guarantee availability or feasibility.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1 Event Details
You are responsible for providing accurate, timely and complete event details, including guest count, venue information, all pertinent information, and any specific requirements.
7.2 Compliance
You agree to comply with all local laws, regulations, and venue policies during the event.
8. Liability
8.1 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signature Experience Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: ● Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. ● Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service. ● Any content obtained from the Service; and ● Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
8.2 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Signature Experience Events and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to Terms
Rights are reserved, at the sole discretion of Signature Experience Events, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 14 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at my sole discretion.
